January, 2022: Thanks to a grant from Honeywell/Sandia National Laboratory, Timmy is using the new Lunt 100mm APO Universal Day & Night Use Modular Telescope for solar observing.
Setup and Equipment
Materials needed for collapsible tabletop frames
We used PVC pipe to to build our collapsible displays. These can be adapted to any size and are easily transported. The larger frame displays our Current Information boards.
Large frame materials
Note: We are now using round curtain rod clips and string to secure the boards on the frame. The sun and heat of our climate often caused the velcro to pull off the poster boards.
The smaller frame holds our Health Effects cards-- English on one side and Spanish on the other side.
